Blustery winds
Largely dry with sunshine

Saturday
Low pressure is expected to be to the north of Scotland on Saturday. A windy or breezy day for all. Frequent, heavy showers as well as longer spells of rain in northern and western Scotland even moving in to eastern regions later, Northern Ireland as well as northern and western regions of Ireland. The Borders as well as northern England are also likely to see blustery showers. Showers also to affect west and south Wales as well as across the moors of southwest England. Elsewhere, dry with sunny spells. Highs at 16 to 22C.


Saturday Night
Overnight, staying windy, more so further north, with blustery showery rain affecting north and west Scotland. Still showers likely to affect western coasts and hills but largely dry and fine elsewhere. Lows at 7 to 10C.

 
 
 


Sunday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland with a ridge of high pressure building in to the southwest on Sunday. Winds ease back but still breezy for many. Sunny spells but also frequent and heavy showers affecting north and west Scotland, western regions of Ireland, Northern Ireland as well as northwest England and west Wales once again. This includes a few showers looking likely to push eastwards into eastern regions of northern England and Scotland too. Mostly dry and fine elsewhere. Highs at 23C in the sunshine in southeast England, 17C in Ireland and 14C in western Scotland.


Monday
A ridge of high pressure builds through much of the country during Monday. This brings plenty of dry and fair weather with sunny spells. The risk of a few showery bursts of rain in northern and western Scotland, these turning more persistent later. Isolated showers affecting other western coasts and hills further north and west too. Highs at 14C in northern Scotland, 22C in southern England.
