Becoming unsettled
Unseasonably mild

Sunday
Cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting southern and central areas of Scotland, northern and central regions of England and Wales. Rain turning light and patchy for most through the morning. Southern England, south Wales and much of Scotland staying mainly dry with spells of sunshine. Rain looking to either clear or turn light and patchy for many in the afternoon. Ireland and Northern Ireland seeing some sunny spells with mainly dry weather but also a few showers likely. Highs at a milder 12 to 17C for most though cooler still across parts of Scotland.

Sunday night
A cloudy night for most and largely dry, however, rain is expected to push east across Ireland, and on into western regions of England, and Wales, patchy also across Northern Ireland. Elsewhere, staying mainly dry. A mild night with lows at 7 to 11C.

Monday
Heading into the new week expect an unsettled weather pattern to move in though it will remain unseasonably mild. Spells of rain will push east as fronts move across the country along with a strengthened south-westerly wind, perhaps gale force in the west and southwest. Rain most frequent and heaviest towards the north and west, patchier across England, Wales and Ireland. Highs at 13 to 19C.

Tuesday
We continue with this unseasonably mild air on Tuesday though remaining very windy with outbreaks of rain expected again for many. More persistent rainfall could push across Wales and southwest England later. Highs 15 to 19C, and good chance of a few east to south-eastern regions of England reaching 20C.
