A chilly wind
Best sun in west

Sunday
High pressure centred west of Scotland on Sunday. Another cold day with some cloud around northern and eastern coasts. A few spots of rain here too. Scattered showers over parts of the East Midlands and East Anglia. Best of the sunshine will always be through more western areas with good sunny spells here. High temperatures range from 5 to 9C though a significant wind-chill affects all areas.

Sunday Night
Showers continue to affect northern and eastern coastal areas through the night from Sunday to Monday, perhaps merging to give longer spells of rain around Lincolnshire and East Anglia. Otherwise dry with the best of any clear skies to the west. A cold night with a widespread frost and a risk of ice patches forming. Overnight lows widely at -3 to 1C, milder to the far northeast.

Monday
Scattered showers into the east on Monday, blowing in on the north to northeast wind which makes it feel cold. Most of the showers over East Anglia and southeast England. Drier in the west with sunny spells. Ireland will also have plenty of sunshine and it will be staying dry here as well. Highs ranging from 7 to 11C.

Tuesday
High pressure is centred just to the west of Ireland on Tuesday. There will be some broken cloud through England and Wales. Some showers in central and eastern areas, most of them light. Brighter across much of Scotland and Ireland, but some broken cloud here too. High at 7 to 11C.
