Heavy rain in parts of the Mediterranean

Sunday
Outbreaks of rain pushing across northern and western areas of Spain and Portugal today, the south and east staying mostly dry and largely fine, along with the Balearics. A dry and bright day for Sardinia and Corsica though again southern Italy and Sicily will see showers and or longer spells of rain with blustery winds. Cloudy across Greece with showery rain. Largely dry across Turkey though some coastal showers to be expected.
France seeing rain move across northern and western regions, elsewhere dry though with building cloud. Wet with rain and blustery winds through Belgium and Holland into northwest Germany. Elsewhere across Germany will be dry and fine along with eastern Europe and the Alpine countries.
Heavy rain, some sleet and snow too, moving in across southern regions of Norway with blustery winds. Breezy but mostly dry across Sweden. Some patchy rain and sleet through Finland and the Baltics though mostly dry. A dry mornng for Denmark then rain moves in to western areas later with the winds strengthening.

Monday
A windy day across Spain with frequent showers pushing on to northern coasts, otherwise mostly dry. Portugal will have a better day though again showery rain towards the north. Overnight rain moving in to the Balearic islands, rain turning heavy here through the day. Outbreaks of rain moving into Corsica and Sardinia with cloud increasing through Italy though staying mostly dry here. Outbreaks of rain over the Greek islands and onto the western Turkish resorts.
A wet and breezy day across France and the Low Countries though it should dry and brighten up for some as the day progresses. Showery rain also affecting much of Germany and Switzerland. Austria should remain largely dry along with eastern Europe.
Staying breezy through Scandinavia though largely dry, however, outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will affect southern regions of Norway and western areas of Denmark. Cloudy and damp for the Baltics, southern Sweden and coastal areas of Finland, otherwise dry.
