Heavy rain for Portugal and central mediterranean, drier and milder in the east


Wednesday
Heavy rain in northwest Spain with some showers in Portugal and western Spain. Eastern areas will be brighter with sunny spells and dry too. Heavy rain and showers in Corsica and Sardinia as well as western Italy. eastern areas will be brighter and drier. Greece and Turkey will be mild and sunny as well as dry.
Rain in southern France, some of it heavy. Drier in other areas of France with sunny periods. The Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Remaining dry and fair in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Fair with good spells of sunshine in Denmark. Wind and periods of sleet and rain in the Baltic States. Heavier periods of sleet and snow in Finland

Thursday
Heavy rain and gale force winds through Portugal, western and southern Spain on Thursday. Drier in the east with brighter spells. Showers in Corsica but fine through Sardinia. Greece and Turkey should be dry with good spells of sunshine.
Wind and showery bursts of rain in western France. Further showersin southern France too. Drier in eastern rance as well as the Low Countries and breezy here. Sunny spells and dry conditions in Germany and Poland, mild. Hungary should be dry with sunny spells.Dry with some sunshine in Austria and Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark and breezy as well as mild. Staying dry with some sunshine in the Baltic States. Fair too in Finland and through Sweden. Showers in western Norway, these wintry in the north.
