Warm and dry central and southern areas with some sunshine, rain to north
Wednesday High pressure remains over Iberia to keep things dry and fine here. Largely dry too for Italy, though some patchy rain to the north of Sicily. Showery rain across the Greek islands with heavy rain pushing into western Turkey. Outbreaks of heavy rain initially across France will clear from the west though stay windy here. Rain heavy for a time through the Low Countries pushing in to western Germany, where it will be windy here too. A mix of rain, sleet and snow for Switzerland and western Austria. Drier across east Austria. Largely dry through Poland. Largely dry though chilly across Norway and Swewden though some patchy rain about centrally here. Mostly dry also through Finland though winds brisk. Patchy rain affecting the Baltic States with a brisk wind and wind chill expected. A dry morning for Denmark but rain is expected to push into western and southern regions in the afternoon with a strengthening wind.
Thursday Fine and warm across Portugal and Spain. The Balearics will be fine too as will be Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will be fine and warm as well as dry. Greece will have a few showers. Heavier rain in western and southern Turkey but fine in the east. Plenty of sunshine through France and dry here as well as warm. Some rain through the Netherlands and Germany. Poland will also have some periods of rain. Hungary and Austria will have cloud and some rain. Switzerland will be bright and dry. Breezy and cloudy in Denmark. Some outbreaks of rain in the Baltic States and Finland, Drizzle for southern Sweden, dry in the north. Rain in western Norway, some heavy.
