Staying rather unsettled over much of Europe over the coming days. An extensive low pressure system will bring wet and windy conditions to several western countries through Wednesday while it will be drier and brighter in the east.
A cloudy day for the western Mediterranean with heavy rain for northern Portugal and northwestern Spain. Brightening in northern Italy through the afternoon. Dry and bright for Greece and Turkey.
A cloudy day for France with rain affecting northern areas. Brighter in the southeast. A wet day for Belgium and Luxembourg but it should stay mostly dry for the Netherlands. Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Austria will experience a mixture of sunny spells and scattered wintry showers while Switzerland and Hungary should stay dry with some good sunny spells.
It will be a wet day for Denmark. Wet too in the Baltic States with high winds through the morning followed by wintry showers through the afternoon. Windy too in southern Finland with snow falling throughout the day. Snow showers will affect southern parts of Norway and Sweden too.
A band of heavy rain will sweep eastward across Iberia through the day followed by scattered showers and sunny spells. The east coast of Spain should stay dry. An overcast but dry day for the Balearics while Corsica and Sardinia will start the day bright it will cloud over through the afternoon. A bright and mostly dry day for Italy, Greece and Turkey though showers could impact far northern regions of Italy and Turkey at times.
It will be a very wet day for northwestern France and the Cote d'Azur. The rest of the country will be overcast. Wet too for the Low Countries and northwestern Germany. Staying mostly dry but overcast in Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland.
Another wet and breezy day for Denmark while, after a bright start, it will turn cloudy for the Baltic States. Bright and mostly dry for Finland though western areas could see some snow showers. After a dry start to the day skies will cloud over and a band of rain and snow will sweep northward into southern parts of Sweden and Norway through the afternoon.
