Largely dry across Europe thanks to higher pressure.

Friday
Hot and largely dry through Spain, Portugal and the Balearics though a few showers do look to develop across western Spain later in the day. Some heavy, thundery showers or longer spells of rain affecting Italy, mostly central and southern regions while the north remains largely dry. Unsettled across much of Greece with heavy showers and or rain though islands not as badly affected. Largely dry across Turkey though a few developing showers by afternoon.
France should be dry with sunny spells for most. Rain and cloud clearing the Low Countries pushing into northwest Germany. The rest of Germany should be dry and fine. Largely dry and fine through Switzerland and Austria. West Poland dry with sunny spells though eastern areas seeing some heavy rain.
Rain gradually clearing far southern areas of Norway and Sweden moving into central regions. Dry and fine further north. Largely dry with sunny spells across Finland. Dry and fine across Denmark. Heavy showers affecting the Baltic States for a time before clearing east.

Saturday
A few thunderstorms across northern Spain first thing then more developing later in the afternoon here. Drier elsewhere and across Portugal and the Balearics. Dry, fine and hot across much of Italy and the islands though one or two isolated showers may just develop later in southern regions of Italy. Scattered showers and thunderstorm widespread across the Greek islands and Turkey.
France is looking to be largely dry and fine with good sunny spells. Largely dry and fine across much of northern, central and eastern Europe though some cloud and light rain through north and central Germany for a time. Some showers across eastern Hungary.
Unsettled weather across Norway into parts of northern Sweden with outbreaks of rain. Elsewhere across Sweden it is largely dry. Outbreaks of rain across west Finland, drier further east. Largely dry and fine across the Baltic States and Denmark.
