One or two showers may break out for southeastern Spain, but much of Spain and Portugal will be dry. Areas around will Biscay will be wetter however, with a brisk westerly wind driving areas of rain into France. Some thundery bursts for northwest Italy and Switzerland, whilst Austria will be mainly dry.
Hot and sunny weather extends across the Mediterranean, Italy, Greece and the Balkan states. It stays unsettled around the Black Sea. Some areas of thundery rain for western Poland. Some rain for the Low Countries, northern Germany and Denmark, but much of central Germany is likely to be dry.
Heavy and persistent rain or showers for Norway and a few showers for Sweden, whilst Finland looks dry and warm, with a southerly breeze.

Thursday
An unstable weather pattern is likely to result in intense thunderstorms forming over southeastern France, northwest Italy and the western Alps, these later extending into southern Germany, parts of Austria and the Czech Republic. Further showers and thundery bursts are likely over northern France and the Low Countries.
Meanwhile Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and the Mediterranean islands enjoy another hot and sunny day. Some very high temperatures in the southwest of Iberia as air is drawn from the interior of Spain, into the upper 30s Celsius.
High pressure over eastern Europe brings dry weather to Ukraine, Hungary and Slovakia, whilst some showers may affect Poland and the Baltic states. A few showers too for Norway, Denmark, plus the far north of Scandinavia, but much of Sweden and Finland will be dry.
