Mild west and south, chilly toward east

Monday
Rain in northern Portugal. Further rain affecting the far north of Spain. Elsewhere Iberia should be dry with sunny spells. Remaining dry through the Balearics. Showers in Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will have some showers in the west but dry and bright in the east. Rain, some heavy and thundery in western Greece but dry in the east. Turkey should be mostly dry with sunshine although a few showers in the far west.
An unsettled and wet day in France. Strong winds and some heavy rain here. The Low Countries should be dry with sunny spells. Fair for Germany with broken cloud. Breezy in Poland with some bright spells here. Rain affecting eastern Hungary but dry in the west. Scattered showers for Austria and Switzerland.
Some patchy rain for southern Denmark. Fair for the Baltic States. Cool in Finland but dry. Dry and cool in Sweden. A few snow showers in western Norway, these becoming heavy in the north.

Tuesday
Dry across much of Spain, Portugal and the western Mediterranean. A little rain in northwest Iberia. Rain sweeps across France into the Low Countries and Germany, falling as snow over the north and western Alps.
Showers for Italy and the south of Greece. Some heavy bursts through the Aegean Sea also affecting western Turkey. Rain around the Black Sea coasts of Romania and Bulgaria. Snow for Ukraine and over the Carpathian Mountains. Mainly dry for Hungary, the eastern Alps and Balkans.
Chilly across much of Poland and the Baltic states, staying sub-zero all day. Also cold for northern Scandinavia, but less cold further south over Norway and Sweden with some patchy rain and sleet. Rain becomes heavier for Denmark.
