Wind and rain across western Europe, drier in the east
A band of heavier rain pushes across northwest Spain and down Portugal becoming fragmented as it moves into central areas. The far south and southeast remaining largely dry. Showery rain moving across the Balearics with heavy rain to affect Corsica and Sardinia. Most of Italy look to be dry but with cloudier skies for many in the north. Scattered showers along western fringes of Greece, otherwise dry along with Turkey.
An unsettled day across France with blustery winds and a band of heavier rain tracking eastwards, frequent showers behind. Heavy rain moving across the Low Countries also into far west of Germany later in the day. Dry through the rest of Germany. Mostly dry and fine across eastern Europe including Austria, though Switzerland will see some scattered showers and rain in the west by evening.
High winds across western Norway though most staying dry here. Dry and largely fine for Sweden and Finland with mist and fog further north here, breezy to the south. A few odd scattered showers across the Baltics otherwise dry with sunny spells. Becoming windier across Denmark with some patchy rain moving through.
Showers across much of central Spain and Portugal on Wednesday. More persistent rain affects the south and the north of Spain. Showers too for the Balearics. Some heavy rain in Sardinia and this affects the south of Italy. Northern Italy should be dry and bright. Greece will have heavy showers in the west but the east should be drier and brighter. Turkey will be bright with sunny spells.
Windy in northern and wester France with heavy showers and longer spells of rain here. Further wind in the Low Countries but mostly dry. Some rain in eastern parts of Germany but fair elsewhere. Rain in the south of Poland, fair to the north. Hungary will have rain in the east, but fair in the west. A few showers in Austria then fair across Switzerland.
A wet and windy day is possible for Denmark and the far south of Norway. The Baltic States will be bright and dry with sunny spells and it should be dry too in Finland. Most of Sweden and Norway will be dry and chilly with a risk of fog.
