Hot Mediterranean, breezy Scandinavia with heavy showers

Thursday
Hot and dry in Spain and Portugal today, strong winds in the north too. More sunshine and hot weather in the Balearics too. Scattered showers for Sardinia and Corsica. Thunderstorms in southern Italy, fair in central and northern Italy. Greece will be hot and dry with the hot and dry weather extending through Turkey too.
France should be fair and dry, good spells of sunshine. Sunny spells too in the Low Countries. Showery rain and cloud for northern areas of Germany. Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Hungary and Austria remain dry and fair with Switzerland being dry and sunny.
Wind and showery rain clearing to showers in Denmark, cool here too. Fine for the Baltic States with dry weather. Scattered showers in Finland. Heavier showers and some longer spells of rain for Seden. Further showers and some rain in Norway, fair with sunny spells in northern Norway.

Friday
The hot and fine weather continues across Iberia. Staying sunny and hot too in the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Thundery showers for Sicily. Lots of sunshine and dry weather in Italy. Greece and Turkey will be dry and fine, plenty of sunshine here throughout.
Sunny and dry as well as very warm in France. The sunshine extends through the Low Countries too. Poland will have sunshine whilst it is a bit breezy in Poland with some rain showers in the far north.
