Thunderstorms central/eastern Europe

Friday
Fine across Spain and Portugal with lots of sunshine and dry weather. Staying fair in the Balearics as well. Some heavy showers for Corsica, fair in Sardinia. Italy will have some heavy showers developing in the afternoon. Greece and Turkey should be fine with plenty of sunshine. Fair for northern and western parts of France. Showers in the east and south of France. The Low Countries will be fair with sunshine here and a cooling sea breeze. Germany will be fair in the west but some showers are likely in the east, heavier showers affecting Poland. Hungary will have some showers too and these will also be affecting Switzerland and Hungary. Denmark should be fine with sunny spells. A few showers in the Baltic States whilst Finland stays dry with sunshine. Fair too in Sweden although an odd shower to the south. Some showers in northern Norway, but dry for the south with sunny spells.

Saturday
A dry, fine and hot day for Spain and Portugal. Dry and fine too for the Balearics. A few showers developing across Sardinia and Corsica with local thunderstorms popping up across central and southern Italy. A dry and hot day for Greece and Turkey.
Largely dry and fine for France although a few showers will affect the eastern regions. Dry and sunny for the Low Countries but with a cooling sea breeze here again. Much of Germany will be dry with lengthy spells of sunshine, although southern areas will see developing thundery showers. Sunshine and showers for Switzerland and slightly more cloud cover with heavier showers across Austria. Thunderstorms developing down the Balkan States too.
Heavy showers and or longer spells of rain are affecting northern and western parts of Norway, while Sweden looks to remain mostly dry, although one or two showers could affect central areas later on. Largely dry for Finland although rather cloudy. A few showers, some heavy and possibly thundery, affecting the Baltic States still. Denmark again will see dry conditions and good spells of sunshine.
