Cold and wintry weather dominates northern Europe, mainly fine across southern areas
Today Cold weather dominates across more northern areas of Europe, especially across Sweden and Norway where wintry precipitation is expected along with some low temperatures too. Unsettled conditions dominate across much of the British Isles with mild weather and spells of wind and rain. Some cold and wintry weather dominates across far eastern areas of Europe and into western regions of Russia. Much of the Mediterranean is expected to be dominated by high pressure and this will signal mainly dry conditions with some bright or sunny spells and actually quite mild too, if not locally warm across parts of Iberia including Spain.
Wednesday Into Wednesday and very unsettled conditions dominate across NW Europe, including all of the British Isles including England with very wet and windy weather here, along with particularly mild conditions too. Snow is expected to develop across parts of Norway and some southern southern areas of Scandinavia, while a cold N'ly wind dominates across eastern Europe, with some wintry precipitation here too. Mainly dry conditions continue through through the Mediterranean with plenty of fine weather across Spain and eastwards towards Italy as well and mild, if not warm still across many southern regions of Europe.
