Unsettled conditions over central Europe while settled conditions prevail to the north


Saturday
Dry with plenty of warm sunshine for Portugal, Spain, the Balearic Islands and northern Italy. Cloudier with showers for southern Italy. A few showers too for western parts of Greece but it is a mostly dry and fair day here. A few showers too for western and central parts of Turkey, these becoming heavier and concentrated along the north coast later.
A few showers for northern France, the Low Countries and northern Germany on Saturday. Fair with some sunshine to the south of France. Rain affecting southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia through the day. Slowly easing into the evening. Outbreaks of rain for southwest Poland too, drier and brighter to the northeast.
A mostly dry and bright day for Denmark, Norway and Sweden as high pressure builds. Cloudier for Finland and the Baltic States with the odd wintry shower developing here.

Sunday
A mostly fair day for Portugal and Spain but cloudier to the north with a chance of lights showers developing along the north coast of Spain. Clouding over for the Balearic Islands on Sunday with a chance of light showers through the afternoon. A mixed day for Italy with sunny spells and scattered showers. Scattered showers affecting western parts of Greece too but elsewhere it's dry and bright.
Outbreaks of rain for the Low Countries, these often heavy, and spreading southeastward across France through the day. Heavy rain also affecting southwestern Germany but staying dry and bright to the northeast. A few lingering showers for Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary but a dry and fair day here on the whole.
High pressure holds over Scandinavia bringing another dry and bright day to Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Mostly dry and bright too for Finland and the Baltic States though the odd light, wintry shower may develop here.
