Some rain in central Europe, drier north and south
Friday Rain and cloud in Portugal and northern Spain today. Some showers affecting more eastern and southern areas. Italy should be dry with good spells of sunshine for many, but a few showers may affect eastern coasts. Greece should be dry with sunshine to come here through the day. Showers affecting Turkey, some of them heavy in places. France sees cloud and a risk of rain in the west but eastern areas should be dry with sunny spells. More sunny spells for the Low Countries although some patchy rain affects northern Germany. Rain affects southern Germany and Austria as well as Hungary, this thundery in places. Rain too in southern Poland, but the north should be dry with sunny spells. Dry with sunny spells in Denmark. The Baltic States should be dry too with some sunny periods coming through here. Finland is likely to be cold with some sunshine too. Sweden is dry in the south with sunshine here, but some showers to the north. Norway will be dry with sunshine.
Saturday Fair with good spells of sunshine over Spain and Portugal. Staying fair in the Balearics too. Showers affecting Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will be fair with sunny spells and it is going to be remaining fine in Greece. Heavy showers in Turkey
