Morning mist and fog patches affecting southern and southeastern England, ut these should be clearing quickly. Elsewhere it should be dry with cloud breaking and bright spells developing. Breezier through Scotland with a front giving thicker cloud in northern and western areas as well as some outbreaks of rain and drizzle. This affecting the far west of Ireland too, although eastern Ireland should be drier and brighter. Much milder for all with highs at 12 to 17C.

Wednesday Night
Rather a cloudy night ahead across much of western and northern Scotland as well as parts of western England, Wales and Ireland. Patchy rain in western Scotland, and drizzle on the hills of western England and Wales as well as Ireland. Drier eastern and south with the cloud more broken here and a few mist or fog patches around by the morning in southern England. Lows at 4 to 9C.

Thursday
High pressure across central Europe extends a ridge into southern England on Thursday. This is going to be bringing mild weather to all parts of the UK and Ireland. Morning mist patches clearing quickly in the south to leave most places dry with broken cloud and some sunny spells. A few spots of drizzle over western Wales and northwest England. Fronts bringing more persistent rain to much of Scotland as well as Ireland and breezier here too. Mostly dry in eastern Scotland. Tops at 12 to 17C.

Friday
High pressure builds into England and Wales on Friday but affects all areas. A weak front remains and will bring lots of low cloud, drizzle and general murk to much of Ireland, Wales, southwester, central and southern England. The cloud will break allowing a few bright spells to come through, and feeling very mild where they develop. Probably brighter overall in northern England and Scotland, sunny spells here and mild too. Tops at 13 to 17C.
