Tuesday
Morning mist and fog patches affecting many parts of northern England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland this morning. These are likely to be clearing allowing some good spells of sunshine to develop. Feeling less cool than recent days too. More southern parts of England and Wales, as well as southern Ireland will have more broken cloud with bright or sunny spells developing, and feeling milder too. Highs at 12 to 16C.


Tuesday Night
Fog patches developing across central and southern England and Wales tonight. Northern England and Scotland as well as most of Ireland will be too breezy for mist and fog to form, so dry here with some clear skies. Stronger winds affecting Scotland, with dry weather to the south and east. Rain afecting northern and western Scotland. Lows at 3 to 7C.
 


Wednesday
An area of high pressure is expected to be centred over northern France and the Low Countries. This brings light winds to southern England and Wales where there will be mist and fog patches at first. These clearing to leave a mild day with sunny spells and dry weather. Cloud and some outbreaks of light rain and drizzle in northern and northwest Scotland. Elsewhere the day is dry with some sunny periods throughout. Highs at 12 to 17C.


Thursday
Little change on Thursday with high pressure remaining just south of the UK. Morning mist and fog patches in the far south at first, but these then clearing to leave sunny spells and dry conditions throughout the day. Fronts brings showery bursts of rain into northern and western parts of Ireland as well as the north and west of Scotland. Drier to the east of Scotland. Tops near 12 to 17C and so feeling very mild.
