Sunday
A breezy day to come across northern parts of Britain. Some patchy rain is likely across parts of Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland this morning. A fine morning for much of Britain with sunny spells. During the afternoon more in the way of cloud is likely to develop but still some sunshine to be had as well. Some rain and drizzle is expected to linger across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. With less wind in the south, it will feel pleasantly warm in the sunshine. Expect maximums of 11 to 14 Celsius.


Sunday Night
In the evening light outbreaks of rain are expected across Scotland, Northern Ireland and into north western parts of England. A dry evening elsewhere with some late sunshine to end the day across the south. Overnight it's looking rather cloudy except in the far south where skies stay clear. Sporadic outbreaks of rain are expected across northern parts of Britain with the south dry. The rain across northern Scotland may be more heavy and across the northern half of Britain it will be very windy in the evening and night. Expect minimum temperatures of 4 to 7 Celsius.


Monday
A much colder day is expected across the north as temperatures fall into single figures but mild in the south. A lot of cloud is expected with rain across northern England with showers to the north and the south in the morning. In the afternoon expect persistent rain across northern Wales, The North Midlands into Yorkshire. The showers across Scotland and Northern Ireland will be of snow on the hills. It becomes quite windy this evening and into the night as a band or rain with snow on the hills slips into the south. Expect highs of tops of 7 to 15 Celsius.


Tuesday
Cold across Britain today, especially in brisk northerly winds. Any residual rain across Kent soon clears. A number of showers to affect the country through the day, some may be heavy. The showers again will be wintry over the hills of Scotland and Northern Ireland. It continues quite breezy through the evening and the night. It turns dry with a risk of some icy patches where showers fell. Temperatures will be below normal with highs of 7 to 10 Celsius.
