Wednesday
Another very muggy day ahead and one that will be very warm for the time of year too. Rather a lot of cloud and some mist around first thing this morning, but this breaking to leave some decent spells of sunshine for most/ The best of the sunshine tending to be across the far south of England. Cloudier skies in Ireland could produce a few spots of drizzle on southern and eastern coasts, although brightening up inland. Thicker cloud and some drizzly rain affecting northern Scotland. Highs around 27C in southeast England, 19C in northern Scotland.

Wednesday Night
Fresher weather pushing into Ireland tonight bringing some outbreaks of showery rain with it. The fresher conditions reaching western Wales and southwest England by morning, together with some patchy rain. Heavier bursts of rain affecting the west of Scotland later. Drier for the rest of England, wales and most of Scotland and staying muggy too. Lows at 18C in southeast England, 12C over Ireland.

Thursday
Low pressure is expected to be to the northwest of Scotland on Thursday. This brings cloud and some outbreaks of rain to western Scotland, the winds increasing here too. After a drier morning heavier periods of rain arrive in Ireland in the afternoon. Tending to be dry over England and Wales and feeling fresher than recents days for many, although that fresher air not arriving in the east until later. Bright or sunny spells for many, although a band of cloud tracks east heralding the arrival of the fresher air. Highs at 16 to 23C.

Friday
A large area of low pressyre is to the northwest of the UK on Friday. A few showers are possible across parts of central, southern and eastern England Friday morning with some bright or sunny spells here and there. More persistent rain moves into Ireland as a smaller area of low pressure swings northeast. This heavier rain will be affecting much of central and western Scotland on Friday afternoon with winds reaching gale force in Ireland and western Scotland. Drier elsewhere with some bright spells. Tops at 14C in northern Scotland, 21C in southern England.
