Tuesday
A muggy start to the morning over most of the country. There will be plenty of cloud too, with a front bringing drizzle through central Ireland and southwest Scotland. Western coasts and hills tending to be staying rather murky through Tuesday,. with some more spots of drizzle in central Ireland, southwest Scotland and northwest England. Fresher in northern Scotland with some sunny spells forming here. Bright spells developing over the rest of England and Wales, although always with a fair amount of cloud. Highs at 25C in the sunshine over eastern England, 17C in northern Scotland.

Tuesday Night
Muggy for most tonight and rather cloudy too. It should be mostly dry, although just a few spots of drizzle over the hills of northern England. Thicker cloud in Scotland with drizzle on the hills, most ion the west. Staying largely dry for Ireland although a low risk of some thundery showers in the far west. Lows near a very muggy 13 to 17C.
 

Wednesday
A ridge of high pressure is maintained over the east of the UK on Wednesday. Low pressure to the southwest of Ireland will be bringing cloud and periods of rain to Ireland, with some drizzle in western Scotland. Elsewhere there will be a fair amount of cloud again, but this breaking to give bright or sunny spells for most. The best of the sunshine across southern and eastern parts of England. Another very warm day in that sunshine with tops at 26C in eastern England, 21C in western Scotland.

Thursday
A deeper area of low pressure is expected to be crossing Scotland on Thursday. This brings an area of strong winds, gales in the west with some heavy periods of rain too. Not much rain for eastern and southern England and Wales with some bright or sunny spells here. Showery bursts of rain affecting the coasts of Wales and southwest England. Highs at 16 to 22C so feeling fresher for all.
