Thursday
Cloudy for many to start this morning with fog shrouding hills. An area of rain affects northern England, Wales and the far southwest, the most persistent of this in more western areas. Drier in the east and south but it won't be long before outbreaks of rain spread eastwards, although becoming increasingly patchy. Drier for much of Scotland and Ireland, with some drizzle on western coasts and hills. Brighter spells to to east of Scotland. Generally turning drier in northern England, Wales and the west this afternoon, patchy rain for the rest of England and Wales. Another very mild day with tops of 10C in northern Scotland, 15C in central and southern England.

Thursday Night
Drizzly outbreaks of rain through the Midlands, southern and southeastern England tonight. Fog on the hills too. Some spots of drizzle for western coasts and hills too. Generally drier elsewhere and remaining very mild too. Temperatures will be falling no lower than around 6 to 9C.
 

Friday
An area of low pressure will be to the west of Scotland on Friday. Fronts associated with the low will be bringing rain to much of the far southwest of England, Wales and northwest England, this then spreading into the rest of Wales and northern England this afternoon,. Most of this will again be in the west. Drier across more eastern and southern parts of England although always drizzle on southern coasts. Cloudy and drizzly over much of Ireland, just some drier spells and a few brighter interludes in the north. Scotland is likely to to see a few brighter spells in the east, but the west and north tending to be cloudy and drizzly throughout. Highs at a mild 10 to 14C.

Saturday
Low pressure remains to the north and high pressure to the south on Saturday. Some wetter weather as rain slips east across much of northern and western England and Wales. Probably drier further east and south, although rain arriving here later. Wet too in western Scotland where showers merge to longer spells of rain. Drier in eastern Scotland. Some drizzle in the west and north of Ireland, although morning rain fades from the east. Mild again at 10 to 14C.
