A mild day and it becomes increasingly windy across Scotland. Expect a good deal of cloud across northern parts of Britain today and a weak front will produce some patchy rain and drizzle across western parts of Scotland. The rest of Britain will be dry with the best of the sunshine across central and southern parts of England. Temperatures will be above normal. Expect maximums of 11 to 14 Celsius.

Monday Night
A windy evening and night across the northern half of Britain. Gales to affect the north of Scotland and the Northern Isles. Further rain to affect northern Scotland into the evening and night and it becomes a bit heavier. Some light rain to also fall across Northern Ireland and later in the night across north west England, Wales and Cornwall. Central, southern and eastern England remains dry. Expect minimum temperatures of 7 to 10 Celsius.

Tuesday
Unseasonably mild today with temperatures well above normal across England making it feel spring-like. It continues windy northern Britain today with south westerly gales across northern Scotland and Shetland. A weak front will keep it cloudy across the north with light rain across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Dry across England and Wales with the best of the sunshine in the morning as it tends to cloud over during the afternoon. Rain lingers across northern Ireland and may affect northern England tonight with the rest of Britain dry. Expect high temperatures of 10 to 16 Celsius.

Wednesday
Another very mild today across England and Wales. Expect a good deal of cloud across Britain today and very little in the way of sunshine. Most places should be dry but some light rain may affect Northern Ireland and northern England. Most places will be dry into the evening but over night an area of rain spreads in across Northern Ireland, Scotland and perhaps into Cumbria and north west Wales. Look for high temperatures of 10 to 16 Celsius.
