It becomes windy across the south of England with gales around the coasts of south west England. An area of moderate to heavy rain across the West Country and South Wales is expected to spread into all of Wales and the southern half of England during the course of the morning. In the afternoon still some rain to come across Wales and southern England. For Northern Ireland, Scotland and northwest England expect a number of showers, some may be heavy. Best of the day's weather should be to the east of the Pennines and eastern Scotland. Expect highs of 7 to 10 Celsius.

Sunday Night
It stays windy in the evening and apart from a few showers across western Scotland and West Wales it should be dry. Overnight the winds lessen. An area of heavy rain reaches Cornwall and Devon before morning. Occasional rain showers persist across western Scotland and north west England. Where skies become clear we could see a touch of frost away from Wales and south west England. Expect minimum temperatures of 2 to 5 Celsius.

Monday
A dry morning with some sunshine for Wales, central and northern parts of England. Quite breezy across Wales and the south today. Persistent rain across the south west in the morning clears to a dry afternoon. The rest of Britain should start dry but a number of showers are expected to develop in the afternoon, but staying dry in the south east. It looks fine and dry across Britain for the evening and night. With light winds and clear spells a frost is likely to form along with some fog patches. Expect high temperatures of 8 to 10 Celsius.

Tuesday
A front spreads heavy rain in across western parts of Britain during the morning. Here the winds strengthen from the south. Central and eastern parts of Scotland and England will be fine in the morning with fog patches clear. A windy afternoon across Britain with gusts to 65 mph across the hills and western coasts of Scotland. That rain spreads into all but East Anglia and Kent through the afternoon. A windy evening and night. The rain across the country in the evening clears all but East Anglia and the south east tonight. Look for high temperatures of 8 to 11 Celsius.
