Fair for most
Rain northern Scotland

Thursday
Increasing loud across the far south of England and Wales as well as the far south of Ireland this morning. This thickens to some showery outbreaks of rain. Most of this will be very patchy as it drifts into the Midlands, East Anglia and Wales. For most, rainfall amounts will be very low. Elsewhere it should be dry with broken cloud and some good spells of sunshine, especially over northern England, Scotland and Ireland. An increasing east to southeast wind with highs at 16C in northeast Scotland, 20C in the sunshine across central and southern England.

Thursday Night
Heavier and some thundery outbreaks of rain spreading into southern Ireland, Wales and the southern half of England this evening. The rain then edges north into the rest of England and Wales, perhaps reaching southern Scotland by Friday morning. Becoming mostly dry in Wales and western England as well as western Scotland and most of Ireland. Lows near 6C in central Scotland, a muggier 12C in southern England.

Friday
An area of low pressure extends through Ireland, England and Wales on Friday. A front surrounding the low will be giving rain across central and southern Scotland, northern England, Wales and much of central and southern England. Little change is expected in these areas through the day which will turn out to be murky and damp. Showers in Ireland and western Scotland, although drier in western England and western Wales. Temperatures at 10C in northeast Scotland, 16C in southern England.

Saturday
Low pressure is going to be west of the UK and Ireland on Saturday. There is uncertainty in the detail of the weather for Saturday but it is expected that there will be cloud and rain in more western areas. This is most likely in western Scotland and northwest England. Showers affect England and eastern Wales, some of these heavy, although drier in the far south. Breezier conditions with more persistent rain reaching Ireland later. Highs at 10 to 17C.
