Sunday
A cold, grey day and windy to come across much of Britain with sporadic outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow. Much of this will be light but a bit heavier across north eastern parts of England with some accumulation over the Pennines. Mainly dry across Northern Ireland. It stays cloudy into the afternoon with drizzly bits of rain across central and southern parts of England and Wales. Some heavier bursts to affect north east England with snow continuing over the Pennines. Expect highs of 2 to 5 Celsius with a significant wind chill.


Sunday Night
A windy evening and night to come, especially across Wales and south west England with gusts to 50 mph around coasts. Much of Wales and England becomes mainly dry this evening as rain dies out. Here it stays dry into the night with clear spells across East Anglia and the south east. Some icy patches may develop by morning. Across eastern and central Scotland expect rain with snow on high ground. Expect minimum temperatures of 2 to 4 Celsius.


Monday
Not quite as cold today but it will be staying very windy with gales across Wales, south west England and Northern Ireland. Much of Britain will have a dry day with increasing amounts of sunshine as drier air moves in from the continent. Fine and sunny as well across Northern Ireland with lots of cloud across Scotland. It remains windy tonight. Some rain may reach Cornwall but most places will be dry and clear with icy patches. Expect high temperatures of 4 to 8 Celsius.


Tuesday
A breezy day with outbreaks of rain across southern Wales and south west England spreading into all of Wales and Northern Ireland in the afternoon. For Scotland and the rest of England it should a fine, dry day with good spells of sunshine. A cloudy night and not so cold across England and Wales. Some patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle to affect the north and the west. Look for high temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.
