Chilly & breezy
Broken cloud

Thursday
High pressure is going to be bringing a rather benign day across the UK and ireland. It is going to be feeling chilly for all in the brisk southeast to eastern wind. There could be a few spots of drizzle on the coasts of East Anglia and southeast England. Drier elsewhere with the best of the brightness in the west and north. Little changes during the day. Highs at 12 to 15C.

Thursday Night
A cloudy and cool night for many. The brisk easterly wind continues to blow bringing plenty of cloud through most areas. There will be some clearer skies in northern Scotland and also for western coasts of England and Wales. Thicker cloud to the east bringing some spots of drizzle and rain. Lows near 6 to 11C.

Friday
High pressure stays centred over Norway on Friday. This is going to be bringing a fresh and chilly east to southeast wind across all areas. There could be a few spots of drizzle on coasts and southern coasts and hills during the day, perhaps an odd spot over higher ground of western England, Wales and eastern Ireland too. Eastern Scotland could see an odd spot of rain, but for the vast majority it will be dry. The best of any brightness in far western areas. Highs at 12 to 16C.

Saturday
The area of high pressure remains over northern Scandinavia on Saturday. The fresh and chilly flow from the east will be continuing. There will be a fair amount of cloud too and this increasing the threat of spots of drizzle in central, eastern and southern areas of the UK and ireland. More western parts should be drier and brighter with some bright or sunny spells. Highs at 13 to 16C.
