Broken cloud tonight

Tuesday
It's a mostly fair day ahead for most of the UK and Ireland. A southeast wind is going to be bringing broken cloud and some sunny spells. The hills tending to be most prone to the cloud, and there is the risk of a few spots of rain in the east of Northern ireland and the far west of Scotland in the afternoon. Generally though it is going to be dry and breezy and feeling chilly in that wind too. Highs at 14 to 18C.


Tuesday Night
A breezy evening and night ahead. Cloud is going to be broken with clear spells for some, the best of them in the west and south. Staying dry throughout the night. The winds tending to be strongest on eastern coasts. With the stronger winds temperatures will be less chilly with lows at 7 to 11C.
 


Wednesday
High pressure is expected to be centred over Scandinavia on Wednesday. There will be a strong southeast to easterly wind affecting all parts of the UK and Ireland. Cloudier skies in the east and south and feeling chilly too. Mostly dry but the threat of a few spots of drizzle and patchy rain on eastern hills. The best of any sunshine in more western areas. Temperatures rising to 12 to 15C but feeling especially chilly in the wind.


Thursday
High pressure is expected to be centred over northern Norway on Thursday. The strong wind becomes more east to northeasterly and will be bringing plenty of cloud to the east and south. Outbreaks of patchy rain and drizzle here and feeling cold in the wind as well. More broken cloud to the west allowing for sunny spells to developing. Brighter in the rest of Scotland and Ireland with some sunny spells and plenty of dry weather too. Tops at 13 to 17C.
