Bands of rain moving east
Becoming unseasonably mild

Sunday
Two bands of rain will affect the country. This morning one area runs in across Northern Ireland, western Wales, western Scotland and south west England. Another area of heavier rain will affect eastern England with dry conditions in between. In the afternoon the rain becomes light and confined to East Anglia and the south east of England while rain in the west tends to fizzle out. Some sunshine develops across western Wales, south west England and Northern Ireland. A mild day with but through the afternoon the winds become stronger in the west taking the edge off of the above normal temperatures. Expect maximums of 10 to 14 Celsius.


Sunday Night
Quite breezy but this evening across Scotland. In the night light rain reaches western Scotland. This evening patchy, light rain across East Anglia and Kent clears away but staying cloudy overnight. For the rest of England, Wales and Northern Ireland it's a dry night with clear spells. Here temperatures may drop low enough for a touch of frost in rural locations. Expect minimum temperatures of 2 to 7 Celsius.


Monday
It continues mild today. Another breezy day to come across Scotland. Across western Scotland we expect some patchy light rain and drizzle but dry and brighter to the east. England, Wales and Northern Ireland will have a dry day. Lots of sunshine is expected across the southern part of England along with areas to the east of the Pennines A cloudy evening and north for the northern half of Britain and Wales. Patches of drizzly rain to affect Northern Ireland, Scotland, Cumbria and north western parts of Wales. Much milder across the country tonight. Expect high temperatures of 11 to 14 Celsius.


Tuesday
Unseasonably mild today with temperatures well above normal across England making it feel spring-like. It continues rather windy across Scotland today A weak front will keep it cloudy across the north with light rain across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Dry across England and Wales with the best of the sunshine in the morning as it tends to cloud over during the afternoon. Rain lingers across northern Scotland tonight with the rest of Britain dry with clear skies in the south and east. Look for high temperatures of 12 to 17 Celsius.
