A cooler and unsettled week ahead in central Europe

Monday
A sunny day for much of Iberia, but some afternoon showers over central-eastern Spain. Breezy for France with a band of rain and showery bursts in the north. Best of sunshine in southern France. Cloudy with some heavy rain for the Low Countries, spreading over Germany through the afternoon, and over Poland through the evening.
A belt of showery rain extends across Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, Hungary and Slovakia. Mostly dry and bright for Romania and the Balkans. Some hazy sunshine for much of the Mediterranean with some dust especially over Italy and Greece, but feeling warm or very warm in places.
Dry start for Denmark but rain and strong winds spread east later. Mostly dry for Norway and Sweden, some patchy rain for the far southwest of Norway. Early rain and strong winds for southern Finland and the Baltic States but becoming drier and brighter.

Tuesday
Sunny and warm in central and southern Spain and across Portugal. A few showers near north coast of Spain. Breezy but mostly dry for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Showery bursts of rain for southern mainland Italy and Sicily. Some showers reaching western Greece later. The Greek islands and Turkey dry and warm.
Unsettled, cool and showery across central Europe. Heavy bursts of rain and hail for Belgium and Germany. Scattered showers for France, drier in the west. Some heavy rain and mountain snow for Austria and the northern Balkans. Mostly dry toward the Black Sea. Patchy rain for northern Poland.
A little showery rain for Denmark, southern Sweden and Finland. Mostly dry but feeling chilly across Norway and northern Sweden.
