An area of heavy rain is expected across northern parts of France into Belgium and Holland with a drier, sunnier but cooler day across Britain. Dry and sunny across southern France. Rain clears eastern Germany and moves into western Poland then fair and dry in the west. Cold with snow showers across Norway and rain across Sweden. Mostly sunny and dry across Finland with snow across northern and eastern Russia. Mostly sunny and dry across the Baltic States, Belarus into The Ukraine. An area of heavy rain is forecast across the Czech Republic, the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. Fair and dry across Turkey. Just a few widely scattered showers today across Italy and around Corsica and Sardinia. Rain moves into north west Spain but mainly dry across the rest of Spain into the Balearics. Rather windy across the Mediterranean with strong southerly winds in the Aegean while gales affect the North Sea and Biscay.

Cold with snow showers across western Norway. Dry and sunny in the east and across southern Sweden with rain across northern Sweden. Wet too with an area of rain across Finland down across Russia and the Baltic States down into Belarus and the Ukraine. Dry across England with heavy rain across northern and central parts of France into Belgium, Holland and western Germany. Dry across eastern Germany into Poland with showers across Denmark. Sunny across the south of France and most of Spain and Portugal across through the Balearics into Sardinia and Italy with sunny skies. Some rain may affect the Czech Republic with lots of sunshine across Greece, Bulgaria, Hungry and Romania. Just a few showers for western Turkey otherwise a fine, dry day. Very windy across northern and eastern parts of Europe.
