Warm, sunny across the Balkans

Today
Some patchy rain to come across England. Light rain to may affect central parts of France. Northern France, across into Belgium, Holland, Denmark, all of Germany and Poland will have a dry day with sunny spells with temperatures in the low 20s. Rather windy and unsettled with, heavy and thundery showers from the Balearics across into Corsica, Sardinia, most of Italy into Slovenia. The far south of Italy should remain dry and sunny. Hot, dry and sunny weather will prevail across Spain and Portugal with gale force easterly winds blowing through the Straits of Gibraltar. Lots of warm, sunny weather to come from the Czech Republic. Across into Hungary, Romania, most of the Ukraine, Bulgaria, Greece, the former Yugoslavia and Turkey. Showers will affect Norway with rain forecast for northern Sweden will the south is dry. Lots of fine, but cool weather to come across Finland. Very showery across Russia and the Baltic States, many of these heavy with the risk of thunder.

Wednesday
Warming up across Europe again today. Fine and dry across England today as well as France, Belgium, and most of Germany with more cloud. Just a few showers across the area today and around the north coasts of Germany with heavier showers forecast for Holland and Denmark. Most of Norway, Sweden and Finland will be dry, sunny spells but rather chilly. An area of rain will affect western parts of Russia into the Baltic States and northeast Poland. Most of eastern Europe will be dominated by high pressure, and this will give dry, sunny conditions from Belarus down through the Ukraine into Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece and Turkey. A few scattered showers will affect, the Czech Republic and the former Yugoslavia with heavy, thundery rain expected across the southern half of Italy. Northern parts of Italy will have a better day with mainly dry, sunnier conditions. Just a few scattered, heavy showers will be found in the vicinity of Sardinia. A fine, sunny and warm weather expected from the Balearics across Spain, into Portugal. Quite hot again today across southern parts of Spain. Expect heavy showers with scattered thunderstorms across the Alps and parts of Austria. Strong easterly winds will again prevail through the Straits of Gibraltar with cyclonic gales across Scandinavia.
