Wednesday
Another chilly day ahead as the northwest wind continues to blow. Some cloud in Scotland and Ireland with showers in northwest Ireland. Brighter further south with sunny spells. During late morning and afternoon some showers will be moving onto eastern coasts of England, before affecting the eastern Midlands, whilst another area of showers and rain slip south through Ireland and into west wales and southwest England by evening. Drier elsewhere with sunny spells and staying cold. Highs at 7 to 10C.


Wednesday Night
Showers clearing south overnight into Thursday. Clearing sies allowing temperature to fall smartly and bringing a slight frost. Increasing cloud through Scotland and Ireland with some drizzle in northwest Scotland later. Lows of 0 to 3C for most.

 
 
 


Thursday
A ridge of high pressure building through England, Wales and southern Ireland brings a dry, brighter day and a milder one too. Fronts passing through Scotland give cloud and rain, some of it heavy in central and western areas. Some cloud and outbreaks of rain for Northern Ireland with cloud increasing in northern England and north Wales, becoming damp here with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Staying dry in southern England, southern Wales and southern Ireland. Highs near 8 to 13C.


Friday
A front clears south on Friday morning taking showery bursts of rain with it. A northwesterly flow follows, staying chilly as well. Most are going to then enjoy a fine day with sunny spells and broken cloud. More cloud always affecting northwest Scotland. Highs at 7 to 10C in Scotland, 13C in southern England.
