The rain will be heaviest across western Scotland. Dry across the rest of England. More cloud in the west and across Wales with the best of the sunshine across central and south east England. Expect top temperatures of 8 to 10 Celsius.
Tuesday Night Cloudy this evening and tonight with heavy rain across western Scotland and north west England. The rain will be lighter elsewhere with a good deal of low cloud and mistiness. It also becomes very windy with gales across Scotland and north west England. Expect minimum temperatures of 4 to 7C.
Wednesday Windy across England and Wales today. Damp too across the country with heaviest of the rain across southern Scotland, north west England and western Wales. Elsewhere the rain is expected to be much lighter in nature this morning. That heavier rain spreads east to many areas in the afternoon as it turns colder across Scotland with showers. A wet, windy evening and night but the rain clears from all but East Anglia and the south east before morning. Maximum temperatures of 6 to 12 Celsius.
Thursday Les windy but feeling colder today A number of showers are expected around western coasts, through the channel and across the south of England. Mainly dry and sunnier for the rest of Britain. Showers tend to die away this evening leading to a dry, mostly clear night with a frost in many areas. By morning some rain may already be across parts of the south west of England. Maximum temperatures of 5 to 10 Celsius.
