Blustery showers
Wet north & west

Monday
Cloud, drizzle and mist for much of England and Wales through today. It is going to be a typical autumnal morning with fog patches in places. Very little change into the afternoon for many, although to the southeast the cloud may well break up with sunshine coming through, and then feeling very warm here. Drier and brighter across Scotland and Ireland, although there will be some fog patches at first. These should slowly clear with sunny spells developing. Highs at 19C in the sunshine in the southeast, but 10C in northern Scotland.


Monday Night
More cloud and drizzle across much of northern, central and western England overnight. Damp too for Wales. Plenty of must and some fog patches in these areas too. Drier for southeastern parts of England with clear skies here. Dry for Scotland and much of western Ireland with clear spells, although some cloud in eastern Ireland giving some drizzle. Lows at 10C in southern areas, 2C in central Scotland.


Tuesday
High pressure extends across the north of the country, with a warm front over northern and western England as well as Wales. This bringsd lots of cloud and some rain or drizzle to these areas, where it will be murky too with plenty of mist. Some sunny spells moving into southern England, parts of East Anglia and possibly the Midlands. Drier and brigjhter for Scotland and Ireland with some sunny spells here. Highs at 10 to 14C for most, but up to 18C in the sunshine in the south.


Wednesday
A weak cold front will affect southern areas on Wednesday, with high pressure to the northwest. There will be cloud and drizzle over much of central and eastern England, but to the west there could be some brighter spells forming over parts of Wales and western England. Scotland, Northern Ireland and the far north of England should be brighter with sunny spells. Highs at 10 to 15C.
