These will persist into the afternoon with a few heavy ones across western Scotland. Some places though will escape with a mainly dry day. Windy, especially in the north today. Expect top temperatures of 12 to 16 Celsius.
Friday Night By evening any showers will have soon faded from inland areas with mostly clear skies. Most places remain dry and clear tonight with strong winds across northern Scotland. A number of showers will affect western coasts of England, Scotland and Wales. Expect minimum temperatures of 6 to 9 Celsius.
Saturday A breezy day but windy across Scotland. Showers are expected across western areas this morning with the east dry and mostly sunny. Expect a good deal of dry weather with sunny spells but a scattering of light showers are possible across Wales, northern England and western Scotland. Rain comes in across Northern Ireland and Scotland this evening and becomes heavy tonight reaching northern England and Wales. Expect high temperatures today of 12 to 16 Celsius.
Sunday Sunday morning the rain clears Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England replaced by sunshine and showers. Rain will fall across north east England and Wales in the afternoon, fair and dry in the south. The rain moves into central and southern England tonight with showers for western Scotland. A windy day on Sunday with gales in the west and across the north. Maximum temperatures of 12 to 17 Celsius.
